AEIOU Foundation was strongly represented at the 2013 Asia Pacific Autism Conference
AEIOU Foundation was delighted to be a sponsor, and to present at, the 2013 Asia Pacific Autism Conference (APAC) from 8 - 10 August in Adelaide.
AEIOU's Research & Psychology Manager, Dr Jessica Paynter delivered a paper on the outcomes of early intervention, and Euan Morton, the Principal of Synergies Economics, delivered a presentation examining the cost benefit ratio of early intervention.
The team was also delighted to host an exhibit at the Conference.
The conference, hosted by Autism SA, followed on from the enromous success of the first two Asia Pacific Conferences, which were held in Sydney and Perth.
Autism SA was founded in 1964, just one year after the National Autistic Society in the UK.
The conference theme was 'True Colours', inspiring delegates to be bold, brave and brilliant, and to reveal, encourage and support the collective skills, talents and abilities of all of us that are part of the autism community.
