AEIOU Camira is undergoing a transformation with support from the Queensland Government. In the meantime, the centre operates from a temporary location with support from Goodstart Early Learning in Forest Lake as the construction of the new purpose-built facility is taking place.

The operations of the centre are expected to move back to the original address in Camira in 2026. Stay tuned for exciting updates!

As we are temporarily operating our service out of the childcare facility in Forest Lake, we can only offer AEIOU’s core early intervention program on a full-time and part-time basis.

At AEIOU, we enjoy celebrating each child’s milestone achievements. Working with children with autism means seeing them gain vital skills, achieving their goals and knowing that we have played a part in supporting their journey.

We acknowledge people use different words to talk about autism, and each person will have a way of talking about themselves or people they care for that they like best. At AEIOU we use a combination of person-first and identify-first language. We do this based on the feedback of our parent community in a 2023 study. AEIOU is neurodiversity affirming and supports each child’s unique strengths, abilities and personal goals.
